Sidekicks co-creates stuffed animals for children experiencing homelessness.

Sidekicks is an official 501c3 that works with children that are in the midst of experiencing homelessness by helping them imagine up and create their very own stuffed animal. We wanted to create a brand identity that highlighted the idea of relationships, creativity, and modular nature of the program.

Doodlies are Made for… is a product of Sidekicks. The book is included in the programming. The goal of the book is to encourage imagination and to include underlying values that both the kids and the parents. We had many brainstorming sessions to come up with the storyline and the characters. Additionally, there were a few rounds of character sketches and storyboarding before diving into the final digital illustrations.
